The Hospital Library is an integral academic support facility of the institution and functions in accordance with the requirements to support patient care, postgraduate teaching, training, and research activities.

The library maintains an adequate and updated collection of standard medical textbooks and reference books covering all major clinical, para-clinical, and pre-clinical specialties, as well as allied health sciences. It subscribes to indexed national and international medical journals in electronic formats, ensuring access to current and evidence-based medical literature.

The library is equipped with computer systems with high-speed internet connectivity to facilitate access to online journals, DVD for standard references, medical databases, e-resources, and institutional subscriptions, as per academic and research requirements. Facilities for literature search, reference support, and guidance are available through trained library staff.

A dedicated reading room is provided with adequate seating capacity, reading tables, chairs, proper illumination, and air-conditioning, ensuring a quiet and conducive environment for study.

The library follows a systematic cataloguing, indexing, and issue–return system to ensure easy accessibility and accountability of learning materials. Photocopying and printing facilities are available for academic use as per institutional policy.

The library is accessible to faculty members, postgraduate students, and authorized hospital staff during notified working hours, with provision for extended access when required for academic activities and examinations.
