Under implementation scenario of BIOMEDICAL WASTE MANAGEMENT Rules, 2016, the waste is generated at approximately 50 nursing stations of the SDN hospital. The Segregation of different types of waste is done at source of generation. Lab wasted & highly infectious waste is pretreated as per BMW 2016 guidelines.

• Various Training programs,, were conducted, corner meetings held & training imparted to Medical officers, nursing staff, paramedical & technical staff, as on –going continued training.
• All medical & paramedical staff is imparted induction training at the time of joining thereafter again trained for bio medical waste management at least once a year.
